We are hosting a Spring Yoga Holiday in Curracloe, Near Wexford, Southern Ireland this May. We have found a lovely Iyengar Yoga Retreat centre, run by Christine Fisk which is near to the sea and surrounded by amazing countryside. Curracloe House Yoga Centre is situated at the rear of an Irish Georgian Farmhouse and has wooded grounds and farm environment. The estate is situated at the edge of an area of great natural beauty and is habitat to one of the largest migrant bird populations in the world.
The beach at Curracloe is one of the finest in Ireland. With over 12 miles of sandy beach, it is a haven for sun-lovers, bird & wildlife enthusiasts, walkers and riders alike. It was used in the opening scenes of the famous film, Ryan’s Daughter. Curracloe House is within 5 minutes walking distance of the beach and woods.
Your Daily Programme
The programme will run with a welcome dinner on arrivals day (Saturday 15th) followed by twice daily yoga Sunday to Friday and a farewell session on Saturday morning. We will pick one day during the week where we have a longer morning session and no evening session allowing time for extended relaxation or excursions – it’s such a beautiful area so we’ll be taking full advantage of the lovely surroundings!
Classes will run 9am to 11am (morning asana practice) and 6pm to 7.30pm (evening Pranayama and relaxation practice).
Brunch will be served straight after the morning yoga class and there will be another evening meal on Wednesday. Other meals will be self-catered but tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the day at the yoga centre.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be mainly in the Curracloe Holiday Villas, a 15 minute walk from the yoga centre although there may be some accommodation available on site. The villas are arranged as two bed or three bed cottages with lounge, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms set in a quiet, rural area.

Prices are €499 per person for three people sharing triple-bed cottage, €599 per person for two people sharing two-bed cottage or €699 per person single occupancy. This price includes daily yoga classes, 7 nights accommodation, brunch from Sunday to Friday, two 3-course evening meals and private access to all the facilities at Curraclose house.
