“I had seen a number of physios and experts from around the world, but none had really been able to help. After a few sessions with Rachel, my back pain started to decrease and I eventually gave up taking pain killers and was able to walk without pain. I do not believe it would have been possible for anyone to help me the way Rachel did. It exceeded my expectations- it was my first time and I did not know quite what to expect. Rachel is a very good and dedicated teacher- able to respond to all levels of ability and I think everyone experienced the benefits during the week. The walks, the treatments and the food were all a bonus and altogether I had a wonderful week. Rachel is an outstanding yoga teacher who is able to differentiate her classes so that the most inexperienced are able to enjoy and improve whilst the most experience are stretched and challenged. The environment is conducive to rest and relaxation and the food is exquisite – prepared with care and love.

What an amazing week, wonderful weather, beautiful surroundings and a lovely group but most important of all the teacher was amazing. Clear instructions, concise demos and lots of individual attention. I really felt that I got to grips not just with the asanas but also gained more understanding of the philosophy behind yoga. Having a proper studio made a big difference, except for having to explain the rope burn afterwards!! I loved the balance of the sessions, tougher in the morning and then more relaxed in the afternoon, especially welcome after a hard day at the beach! My big fear before I went was that I would be sick of yoga after a few days, but the opposite was true, I actually wanted more. Keep up the great work and I`m looking forward to the next time.

I’ve been to 50 physios around the world to fix my back pain, nothing worked. Within 3 sessions of yoga with Rachel, the pain went away. Yoga has had a profound effect on my life.

The best yoga retreat we have ever been on - A fabulous and understanding teacher in Rachel Lovegrove who is able to differentiate her sessions for experienced and not so experienced participants with sensitivity and humour. A peaceful environment and wonderful food. Very good value for money. Highly recommended. Andrew

I think the thing is that you are such an excellent teacher, it makes other yoga classes seem bit rubbish! You really do have an amazing gift for teaching. What was most striking was how you managed to teach such a range of ability and make it look easy. This week has been a restoration of health and wellbeing for me.  I came expecting to do only some of the classes because of health issues.  However, Rachel’s firm but sensitive guidance has enabled me to complete the week’s classes and end with a feeling of achievement and wellbeing.  The food is outstanding and Quinta Mimosa the perfect backdrop.  Thanks to all involved in this process, including my classmates who have been great fun to hang out with.  Extra special thanks to Rachel.  Love & blessings.
