Winter Schedule 2026

Mondays - Level 2/3 Online 7.15am to 8.25am AND Yoga for All (Beginner Friendly), Upham Village Hall 6.45pm to 8.00pm

Tuesdays - Morning Pranayama Online 7.15am to 8.25am

Wednesdays - “Improvers” In Person Old School House, Hedge End - 6.45pm to 8.15pm

Fridays - Guided Practice Online - 8.00am to 8.45am

Saturdays - Level 2 Online 8.30am to 10.00am

From February 2026, Monthly Sadhana Series will be from Thursday to Sunday for those wanting a deeper dive into a regular pratice.

Rachel also offers private tuition in online or in person near Southampton. With over 27 years of teaching experience, and since the onset of the Covid pandemic, Rachel has perfected the technique of teaching via Zoom creating a warm, welcoming and attentive group class experience. Individual attention is provided in real time, just as if you were in an in person class. Recordings are provided so that you can catch up if you miss your session.

Options for Beginners

Beginner Friendly

For new beginners, you are welcome to join the “Yoga for All” class on Monday evenings, from 6.45pm to 8.00pm. There are a wide range of abilities in the classes. Variations are given to safely support anyone, no matter their flexibility, mobility or experience.

Bespoke Yoga Course

These bespoke private courses are available at any time either online or at your home (Southampton / Winchester areas only) They consist of a 4 x 55 minute course for up to 2 persons for £220. They are a great introduction to yoga and can be tailored to suit anyone at any level of ability, age or experience. Questions? Contact Rachel.

Improvers Wednesdays

This is a mixed levels class for all experience levels, particularly for those with some Iyengar yoga experience who want to progress their practice, and is in person only. We work systematically through a wide range of poses, adjusting methods according to the individual ability of the students.

Level 2 & 3 (Online)

These sessions are for students with at least 2 years Iyengar Yoga experience. Inversions are regularly practised with individual guidance and we work towards the more advanced level poses and themes including Pranayama (monthly).

Monthly Sadhana - Four-Day Online / In-Person Practice

A structured, retreat-style practice cycle held monthly from Thursday to Sunday. Each Sādhana includes morning pranayama and a progressive two-hour asana class designed to build steadiness, alignment, and depth in your practice.

Daily Schedule:

  • Thursday & Friday - 7.15–7.45am: Pranayama and 8.00–10.00am: Asana Practice

  • Saturday & Sunday - 8.15-8.45am: Pranayama and 9.00-11.00am: Asana Practice

  • Saturday/Sunday's session is Hybrid so participants can join in person or online

Each four-day arc follows a thoughtful progression, moving from grounding work to more expansive asana, and concluding with quiet, restorative practice. Suitable for all levels with experience in Iyengar Yoga.

Students can join per day or for the whole 4-day course.

Guided Practice

Guided Practice is a subscription based class for experience students only who like to follow a practice without interaction or individual instruction.

Pranayama/Restorative

The weekly Restorative/Pranayama sessions are for regular students. Because of the use of props, at least 12 months experience of Iyengar Yoga is required before joining these classes.

Private/Yoga Therapy
