Rachel Lovegrove Yoga – Retreat & Course Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all yoga retreats, intensives, workshops and courses organised and taught by Rachel Lovegrove Yoga.

By booking a place, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the accompanying Cancellation Policy, which together form your contract with Rachel Lovegrove Yoga.

1. What Your Booking Includes

Rachel Lovegrove Yoga provides:

  • Yoga teaching, classes and course content

  • Retreat facilitation and administration

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, travel arrangements are not included.

Depending on the retreat, your booking may be:

  • Yoga-only
    You arrange and pay for accommodation, meals and travel directly with the venue or supplier.

  • Yoga with accommodation payment collection (e.g. some Italy retreats)
    Rachel Lovegrove Yoga collects accommodation payments on behalf of the venue as a convenience. In this case, accommodation remains subject to the venue’s own terms and conditions.

Rachel Lovegrove Yoga does not act as a tour operator or travel agent.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A £200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place, unless full payment is requested at the time of booking.

  • The remaining balance is due by the date stated on the booking page (typically 4–8 weeks before the retreat).

  • For retreats where accommodation payments are collected by Rachel Lovegrove Yoga, payment schedules will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

Your place is only confirmed once payment has been received.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

All cancellations, refunds, transfers and admin fees are governed by the Rachel Lovegrove Yoga Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Please note:

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Transfers may be possible, subject to availability and an admin fee

  • Where accommodation is booked directly with a venue, their cancellation policy applies separately

4. Changes or Cancellation by Rachel Lovegrove Yoga

  • If Rachel Lovegrove is unable to teach due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a suitably qualified and experienced Iyengar Yoga teacher may teach in her place.

  • Class schedules may be adjusted where necessary.

  • In the unlikely event that a retreat is cancelled by Rachel Lovegrove Yoga, all payments made to Rachel Lovegrove Yoga will be refunded in full.

Travel and accommodation booked separately cannot be refunded by Rachel Lovegrove Yoga — travel insurance is essential.

5. Health, Safety & Responsibility

Yoga is a physical practice. By booking, you confirm that:

  • You are medically fit to participate or have consulted a medical professional

  • You will inform Rachel Lovegrove of any relevant injuries, medical conditions or health concerns

  • You will practise within your own limits and follow guidance given during classes

Rachel Lovegrove Yoga cannot accept responsibility for injury, illness, loss or damage except where required by law.

6. Insurance

All participants are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Cancellation

  • Illness or injury

  • Travel disruption

  • Loss of belongings

Insurance is mandatory for international retreats.

7. Behaviour & Participation

Rachel Lovegrove Yoga reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a participant from a retreat if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate. In such cases, no refund will be due.

8. Data Protection

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Rachel Lovegrove Yoga Privacy Policy and will only be shared where necessary to facilitate the retreat (e.g. with venues).

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
